How students log in to DataClassroom

How students log in to DataClassroom depends on the situation. See below.

Using an LMS (Schoology, Canvas, Clever, Classlink) for rostering

This will depend on how the LMS has been configured, and which LMS it is. Generally:

• The IT admin has initially added DataClassroom to the LMS as described here.
• The teacher may have added DataClassroom to a course or module. In this case, the student clicks on the DataClassroom link or icon on the course page, and is logged in to DataClassroom via the LMS automatically. No password is required.
• Otherwise, the student may be able to search for DataClassroom in the LMS Apps list, and log in from there.

Using Google Workspace for Education

The student can Log in with Google on the login page.

Any login problems please first check this Google article as some special admin permissions are required to be set by the school or district.

Students added by email address or DataClassroom U students

In this case, students just go to https://dataclassroom.com/en/login and log in with email and password.

If it's a Gmail email, then Log in with Google can be used.

If the student account was created by adding them to a manually created class, the initial password will have been set for the class. They may of course have changed it since using the Forgot Password functionality.
