Thank you for your feedback
Your user profile contains a bare minimum of information about yourself.
The tool does not store any personal information about you apart from what you can see on your Profile page.
This includes:
- Your email address. This is what you use to log in. If you are a student, logged in from an LMS, this may not be filled out.
- Your name. This is used to show your name on class membership lists, ownership of things like datasets, etc. It need not be your full name, just enough so that others you are using DataClassroom together with can identify you.
- Your role - Student or Teacher. See here for more about roles.
The Set new password button sends an email with a link to allow you to reset your password.
Is your email externally accessible?
If you are a student and using a school-assigned email, you may not be able to receive emails at that address from external tools like DataClassroom.
